Architectural Design
We have the skills and experience in undertaking the design, lead consultancy and contract administration of projects from inception to completion. Work is undertaken for a broad range of clients in many key sectors; with experience in health, commercial, education and housing. We also have experience in the design and overseeing of works for the refurbishment and extension of high end town and country properties. Our designs and specifications are clear and detailed, to provide confidence to our clients.
We can provide the following:
■ Develop our clients’ ideas to form a clear and concise brief;
■ Feasibility studies to provide our clients with costed, informed option appraisals;
■ Scheme designs;
■ Detailed working drawings, specifications and schedules of work;
■ Advice and submission of statutory approvals such as planning and building regulation applications;
■ Tender documentation;
■ Appointment of suitably qualified contractors;
■ Project management, contract administration and site inspections.
Whilst the majority of our work involves major refurbishments, extensions and new
builds, Jonathan Durndell also undertakes instructions for a variety of smaller works.
Examples include the specification, design and on-
